Luglio 2009:
Roma, Torino e Udine, tutto in una settimana. Tre show nel nostro paese ancora una volta baciato
da un mini-tour che non ci ha risparmiato soddisfazioni. Riducendo in
nude cifre si ha un totale di 45 (quarantacinque!) brani differenti
eseguiti nelle tre serate. Ben 13 le tour premiere (6 a Torino, 4 a
Udine e 3 a Roma) e addirittura tre i brani mai eseguiti prima in
Europa: American Skin a Roma, Travellin' Band a Torino e
Streets Of Fire a Udine.
Da segnalare la presenza sul palco di Roma di mamma Adele e di una zia,
come già avvenne a Genova nel 1999. "Questa è una canzone per la gente
d'Abruzzo" è la dedica alle vittime del terremoto prima di My City of
Ruins. La stessa era stata sollecitata con una bella lettera di un
fan italiano fatta recapitare a Bruce per tramite di Little Steven
ospite di una radio romana.
DEAR BRUCE...
Così comincia la lettera ricevuta da Bruce
prima del concerto romano dello scorso luglio. L'idea nasce una sera di
giugno a tavola dopo un concerto a Grottammare. Protagonisti Lorenzo
Semprini e Vittorio Pasquali.
C'ERA UNA VOLTA (FAVOLA PER
VAGABONDI ANZIANI) C'era una volta lo Springsteen che
trasformava una scaletta assolutamente standard in un concerto
memorabile ma a Roma non si è visto. Recensione critica del concerto

FAITH WILL BE REWARDED Per Laura Bianchi adrenalina è
decidere di partire alle sette meno venti da Como, direzione Torino,
solo sulla base vaga di una telefonata che dice che ci sono ancora
biglietti.

per raccontare la magia di qualcosa che è più di un semplice concerto.
